Ayutthaya is the 2nd ancient capital of Siam after Sukhothai. It is one Thailand  most  important historical sites with 417 years old history, Ayutthaya was once a prominent capital of Indo-China region and had many impressive temples, palaces and arts.

Program

06.30 a.m.

Pick you up at hotel and depart from Bangkok to Ayutthaya.

09:00 a.m.

Arrive at Bang Pa In, the Summer Palace, a former royal palace which was build in Ayuthaya period in early 17th century. Inside the palace, you can see and enjoy oriental and western architectural style with a wide garden and a large pond surrounded by amazing royal residential buildings and monumental towers. Enjoy the wonderful floating pavilion of Aisawan Thipaya, built in the middle of the pond and other royal residences such as Uthayan Phusthian (Garden of the Secured Land), Warophat Phiman (Shining Heavenly Abode), Wehart Chamrun (Heavenly Light), Saphakan Ratchprayun (Assembly Hall for Royal Relatives) and the Inner Palace and Outer Palace.
Head to Wat Yai Chai Mongkol, a magnificent royal monastery with a huge Victory Pagoda surrounded by ruined Buddha images. Visit Wat Mahathat a ruined temple well-known for the Buddha head engulfed in the tree trunk. Ayutthaya Historical Park and visit Phra Viharn Mongkolbophit, a beautiful chapel houses a large bronze Buddha image and Visit Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, one of the most important royal temple and palace in Ayuthaya.

5:30 p.m.

Arrive in Bangkok and drop off back at your hotel.
