– Arrival at Tha Tien pier, take boat ride across the Chao Phraya River to Wat Arun, known as the Temple of Dawn. With its amazing 79 meter high pagoda-style monument, situated beside the Chao Phraya River, Wat Arun is one of the most famous landmarks in Bangkok with impresive view from the surrounding.
– Cross back to the other side of the river, take a short stroll passing through the market and street to Wat Pho, renowned for its huge Reclining Buddha, with 46 meter long and 15 meter high. The temple was founded in 1781 by King Rama I of Chakri Dynasty, and was the first university of Thailand that taught wide range of knowledge ranging from astrology, literature and medicine. It is also can’s dered a temple museum that contains many rarely found artifacts and inscriptions.
